Welcome to Christ Lutheran Church in Conyngham, Pennsylvania!
Dear members and friends,
Unfortunately, we have had three members of our church family who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last days. We are grateful that so far those infected are experiencing only mild symptoms, and we ask you to please keep those with the virus and their families in your prayers. You may be reassured to know that a small number of folks who may have been exposed have already been notified.
While it is not clear whether those infected contracted the virus at the church, some of those individuals were in the building earlier this week. Because of this, the entire church building has been cleaned and sanitized. Although the church has been cleaned, out of caution the church and the church office will remain closed for the time being. We will have an announcement on reopening sometime next week.
Anyone needing to contact the church please call the church office and leave a message on the voicemail, which will be monitored. There is information on the outgoing voicemail message regarding emergency contact information for Pastor Deb.
We will ONLY be holding church worship services on Facebook Live or via the website link this coming Sunday (January 17) at 9:30 am. There will be no parking lot worship this Sunday. Sunday School will be held on Zoom as previously scheduled, and the Soup Sale scheduled for tomorrow 1/16/21 is postponed.
We continue to pray for healing for all who are suffering with COVID-19 and their families. We continue to pray especially for all frontline and emergency service workers, medical personnel and all those who are at risk of contracting the coronavirus in their work or other aspects of their lives.
May God continue “to be our refuge and our strength”…(Ps, 46:1, NIV), now and always.
Live Worship Broadcast:
Weekly worship will be broadcast live Sundays at 9:30 am on our congregation's Facebook Page. You can download the weekly bulletin from our Newsletters and Bulletins page so you can follow along during the service. Printed bulletins and individual communion cups are available for pick up for you to use at home. They are inside the front door of the parlor and may be picked up during office hours. Please help yourself. You may also commune with what you have at home; bread, crackers, juice, wine, etc. For those not on Facebook, you can also view our worship service later on our Videos page or our YouTube Channel. You may come and worship from the parking lot in your car by tuning in to 90.1 FM on your radio.
